Hello! My name is Rachel and I am the photographer and author of this blog. I grew up in the beautiful northwoods of Wisconsin, where I developed my love of the great outdoors and my love of taking pictures at a young age. I decided to further pursue my interest with photography in high school by taking a 35mm film class, and continued on with my interest at the college level. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay with highest honors, completing my Bachelor's Degree in Business & Marketing and minoring in Graphic Communications. After college, photography took on a whole new meaning in my life - my Dad lost his 3 ½ year battle with cancer - and photography not only became my healing power, but my true passion in this life… For me, nothing else compares to the joy and fulfillment I receive in documenting your most special and treasured life moments... ♥

*I am a country-girl at heart and always will be.
*I am completely blissful and happy behind the camera lens… In front of the lens is a whole different story :)
*I am blessed to have two beautiful and talented sisters in my life - they are my best friends!
*One of my most favorite roles is being Auntie to my nieces and nephews - their little souls mean the WORLD to me…
*My Dad is my hero and he is the reason for me pursing my passion with photography.
*I continue to contribute to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in my Dad’s honor and pray that one day a cure for cancer is found.
*I aspire to be an amazing cook like my Mom – her homemade soups and chocolate chip cookies are the BEST! Although we do share a top-secret BBQ recipe – yes, it is that good :)
*I have a healthy love of chocolate - although others might call it an addiction :)
*I ADORE beautiful light, creativity, and all things vintage.
