taliah + kyle {country wedding, wisconsin wedding photographer}

There is no doubt about it – the country is where my heart is.  And when Taliah & Kyle reached out to me about the country wedding they were planning, I was beyond excited.  These two, they are just the sweetest couple.  I met up with them for the first time at their engagement session (here), which was also featured on I Love Farm Weddings, one of my favorite wedding sites!

Taliah & Kyle met at college and had an instant connection - they both have a great love for the country way of life.  Over time, they enjoyed spending time together, from working on Kyle's family farm, to picking apples in the family apple orchard, to hunting on the family land.  It was one day after milking cows that Kyle surprised Taliah, got down on one knee and proposed!  And of course, Taliah said yes!  From there, the planning began and they could not have had a more perfect country, down-home wedding with their friends & family!

I love it when couple's incorporate such meaningful things into their wedding day.  Taliah & Kyle had so many special touches, including giving their guests a jar of homemade strawberry-rhubarb jam.  They picked the rhubarb, mashed the strawberries, and canned the jam themselves!  Taliah's mother put together the mason jar centerpieces which were filled with none other than beautiful country wildflowers.  And one of my favorite moments from the day was the father of the bride's speech.  He shared a book that Taliah had made as a little girl, showing her love of the country and animals and her dream to own a farm someday.

And I must say, the evening's entertainment at the reception provided by Joe & Janice (Music Machine) was truly INCREDIBLE.  You must check them out!!!

Taliah & Kyle - thank you so much for letting me capture this special time in your lives and I hope the small preview of images below tells the story of your incredible day!  I wish you all the love and happiness in the world!

{A very special thank you to my amazing assistant, Melissa!  I appreciate you so much!}
