I had the pleasure of meeting Amanda & Travis for the first time last Fall for their engagement session here (which was also featured on the Midwest wedding blog, A Northwoods Wedding, here)! These two are such an amazing couple and I was so excited for their wedding day. Amanda & Travis were married on the beautiful shores of Lake Holcombe. They chose a love letter & wine-box ceremony, and if you are not sure what this is, please see this. A sign hanging by the guestbook table perfectly describes how these two feel about each other: "the twinkle in my eye, star in my sky, beat of my heart, mate to my soul, skip in my step, smile on my face, bee to my honey, song in my heart, love of my life..."

Not only was their day a beautiful celebration of their love with their amazing family & friends (and the best wedding party ever!), their day was FILLED with unique and personal touches. Amanda used Pinterest for inspiration to create the soft & romantic wedding day that she had always dreamed of! She chose gray and light pink as her colors and she tied everything together with beautiful pink peonies, lace table runners, baby's breath bouquets, chalkboard signs, mason jar drinking glasses, and so much more! Most of the decor was DIY and handmade by themselves, and they also had the help of their amazing friend, Melanie Barfknecht. Their dinner was full of their hometown favorites: pulled pork/chicken, corn on the cob, jojo's, potato salad, and cornbread muffins with honey. And for dessert, ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery!

Amanda & Travis's sweet puppy (Remi) also had an important part in their day, as flower-girl :) And Travis brought along his 1947 Studebaker truck, which was his late grandfather's. It was an incredible day!
