Today Craig and I are celebrating our first wedding anniversary, and looking back, we are so incredibly grateful for the amazing day we spent with our family and friends one year ago.
We were blessed to have Kelsey with Availeth Photography capture our special day, and we are even more so happy to contribute to her mission, with over half of her profits from her photography going to help those in need and bringing God's love and light to those less fortunate... ♥
Our northwoods wedding was planned in 3 short months, and right during the pandemic, but that didn't stop us. We were so grateful to have the help of our family and friends, including my amazing mother that worked tirelessly on the decorations, wedding cake and desserts! My beautiful niece Madie was our vocalist, and my sister Angie (with Windy Meadow Acres) did all the florals. I designed all of my own printed materials, and we incorporated other small touches from the cake stand made from my great grandmother's light fixture, to Craig and his father making the homemade flower boxes, to my Aunt Gloria helping with the rustic décor. I was also honored to wear my mother's wedding dress that she wore when she married my dad in 1975 (alterations done by my matron of honor and amazing seamstress, Nicole - who also made her own bridesmaid dress!) And my dad (who passed in 2007), his hat and truck were part of the day as well♥
Enjoy this very small look into a day that will forever be in our hearts...
Craig, you are my life, my love, my best friend, my everything - and I'm so blessed to share this life with you.♥
